The wind swept across my face
A small rain drop left a trace
I look to the sky above and close my eyes once more
A sharp pain sears me through.
Water seeps from my lonely eyes
I look down to only wonder why
I touch the pain
Nothing there
Except it jerks me more
Afraid to open my eyes at the pain that strikes me
I cry harder and in my voice I quiver
"Why? Why me?"
"Why did you come here to the lonely place only to hurt me again?"
I don't want to see, can't see what is there.
Something pulls me, tells me I must see

I pry my eyes open only to see You.
This time it is for real, you take your dabber and thrust it into me.
Shock surrounds me, you said you loved me.
Down to my knees I go, sudden bursts of sobs.
The sky begins to cry as I weep harder than before.
I reach my hand up to you, feel nothing
Raising my head up, I open my eyes
I am all alone.
