I went to get my eyes dialated because of the situation from last week. My good friend Kerrie gave me the ride to the obstetricians office because she had informed me that it would not be a good idea to drive because it makes your vision blurry. I really like my obstetrician, she is really nice. Well Kerrie was laughing at me because I was trying to read this colored eye contact paper to Bella and it was so cute because Bella was sitting on the floor listening to me. LOL This was all after she put the drops in. Good news, when she took the glaucoma test again the pressure in my eyes have decreased. 16 in one eye and 17 in another! Yeah for that part.
I was getting excited hoping for best, she took me to examine my eyes. I was having trouble and I could see a small look on her face near the end when she kept switching back and forth between one eye looking situation. She knew about the headaches and this is where she asked me if I had nausea. I stated no nausea and I said, but I have dizziness randomly with frequent headaches. She then informs me she really wants me to get an MRI. She is afraid there is a chance a tumor could be developing behind my eyes causing my optic nerve to be pinched. She is not for sure, doesn't want me to worry but thinks it is really important that I get it done as soon as possible. I then asked her if it could be stress related and about why one eye feels so different then the other. She stated it was in both eyes and not just one. She did not believe it to be stress related though she said she would not rule it out. The good news on this part was that she did not see any damage to the eye right now, because of the flashing light coming across my peripheral vision she said she did not see any dis attachment.
So on Monday I will make an appointment with my PCP to request an MRI. I hope that Medi-cal will cover it and let us all pray that it is just stress related and nothing further.
